We expect you to be able to survey and distill academic research, design, build and test prototypes, and provide sound technical analysis to complex problems. In this role, you'll be expected to: Contribute as a key technical expert and development leader in physics-driven hardware design, bridging theory with product development to provide prototype solutions to fruition. Collaborate closely with scientists, hardware engineers, and software teams to turn theoretical models into functional systems. Simulate and validate electromagnetic and thermodynamic performance, contributing to cross-functional design solutions with mechanical engineering. Design across multidisciplinary electro‑mechanical functions including mixed‑signal hardware, RF and antenna, robotics, analog, and firmware / FPGA. Comfort with questioning industry assumptions and best practices through first principles. Demonstrated ability to share context appropriately and consistently across diverse working groups, adapting your communication style to your audience. A habit of providing concise, thoughtful feedback and progress updates to managers, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders.
