6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Registered Psychologist at Envision Mind Care plays a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients. The Registered Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the well‑being of our clients. This position requires exceptional clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and psychosocial assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based therapies and interventions. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, EMDR, ART, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies. Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans for clients. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, treatment goals, and interventions. Provide consultation to team members regarding psychological assessment and treatment approaches. Foster effective communication and teamwork to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of confidentiality. Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in a timely manner. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures regarding record keeping and documentation. Professional Development Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and developments in the field of psychology. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and training programs. Maintain professional licensure and participate in relevant continuing education to enhance clinical skills. Ethical Standards and Professional Conduct Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by regulatory bodies and professional associations. Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner, maintaining appropriate boundaries and professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Uphold the principles of confidentiality and privacy in all interactions with clients and team members. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and in good standing. Experience with or knowledge of psychedelic treatments is preferred. Current registration and licensure as a psychologist in the applicable jurisdiction. Strong clinical skills and experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Knowledge of psychological assessment techniques and ability to administer and interpret assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Strong ethical and professional conduct. Commitment to ongoing professional development. 5+ years post registration experience with Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy is an asset but not required.
