Shop Foreman-Volkswagen of Newmarket, Newmarket, ON L3Y 9A1AreWe're searching for a skilled and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our dynamic team at **Volkswagen of Newmarket** and ensure the top-notch performance of our workshop. Now in partnership with North America’s largest automotive retailer, Lithia and Driveway, it’s your chance to work for a Fortune 500 company and grow with usAs a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Technicians.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Set up and operation of triage and the quality control system.* Provides technical advice to service customers and technicians.* Reviews apprentices’ skills and abilities and recommends additional and ongoing training accordingly.* Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures.* Discusses any problems related to the repair with service management.* Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.**Skills and Qualifications*** Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in the service department.* Volkswagen Experience is preferred* Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.* 310S Automotive service technician trade certification.* Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.**Why Work For*** **Competitive Compensation** - whether you are working in sales, service, parts, or in a support function, Pfaff offers a competitive compensation package.* **Health Benefits** – full-time employees have access to health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance.* **Vacation and Paid Time Off** - in addition to vacation, you are eligible for personal days and are also given the opportunity to purchase PTO (paid time off) days.
