This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the firm’s growth initiatives, sourcing investors, and helping guide capital raising efforts in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Role Overview As a Capital Raising & Business Development Associate, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with investors, driving outreach campaigns, and supporting private equity fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong financial knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls to prospective investors, partners, and leads. Educate prospects on investment offerings while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Schedule and coordinate meetings and presentations. Prepare and deliver investor communication materials. Assist in private equity fundraising efforts, including follow‑up communications and investor relations. Collaborate with leadership to refine pitch materials and presentations. Qualifications Proven experience in sales, cold calling, or appointment setting. Exposure to private equity, venture capital, real estate syndication, or capital markets preferred. Solid understanding of registered investments such as RRSP, TFSA, LIRA, and RRIF. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, evolving environment. Strong desire to learn and grow within private equity or investment space. Background in real estate, venture capital, or private equity offerings is an asset.
