BRANCH MANAGER HEAVY EQUIPMENTLOCATION : London ON (Neptune Crescent)TYPE : Full-time Permanent1 VacancyTOTAL REWARDS OVERVIEWCompetitive base salary based on experienceAnnual bonus opportunityAnnual performance review with increase opportunityBenefits 100% paid for by the organization - inclusive of Health Dental Life Disability and Travel coverageEmployer matching Retirement Savings PlanVacation and paid personal daysPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIESManage and direct Parts & Service team by providing coaching and mentoring, setting goals, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews and identifying skill gaps / development or training opportunities within the teamPartner with HR team to hire, onboard and support new team membersPartner with Manager to establish annual branch goals that support business growthMonitor and report on goals regularly to ManagementAnalyze sales expenses and inventory to maintain gross profit and margin goals in alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Routinely inspect facility to ensure the workplace is organized, clean and free from hazardsEnsure routine facility and equipment maintenance requirements are met and documentation is maintained for audit purposesChampion the health and safety program and ensure compliance from employeesCommunicate / negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers and resolve concerns or issues in a timely mannerFollow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and a positive customer experienceActively assess and pursue new business in the region in support of parts and service developmentParticipate in training and / or industry events as required and act as a champion of the JJE brand across the industryReview verify and approve supplier invoices quotes and department expensesMaintain a balanced and accurate inventory in alignment with internal inventory proceduresCollaborate with the main Parts Distribution Centre (DC) to ensure adequate stock levels and address inventory or customer issuesComplete additional projects and tasks as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONSEducation / Certification :Post-Secondary Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Business Automotive or a related program OR equivalent experienceHeavy Equipment Technician License or Truck and Coach Mechanic License is an assetValid drivers license with a clean drivers abstractMust be able to pass a pre-employment background checkExperience :4 years experience in a Service Parts or Branch Manager role in an industrial heavy equipment, agricultural or related environmentPrevious responsibility for a P&L and demonstrated ability to achieve resultsAdvanced experience using MS Office Suite including Word and ExcelExperience using work order / inventory management softwareExperience creating and implementing plans that lead the team towards achieving growthExperience building and developing teams and strong customer relationshipsPrevious experience may include : Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Lead Hand, Heavy Equipment Technician, Parts Manager, Regional Manager, Heavy Equipment Supervisor, Dealership, Truck and Coach TechnicianWHO WE ARE :As the leading distributor of public works equipment Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE) provides mobile infrastructure- maintenance equipment to municipalities and contractors across Canada and the US.
