Job Description CIMA+’s Infrastructure team delivers customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real‑estate developers. We support clients from start to finish, whether building brand new infrastructure or assessing, repairing, and expanding existing assets. Primary Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design drawings for municipal transportation infrastructure projects. Assist in integrating multidisciplinary input from specialists in traffic engineering, transportation safety, structural engineering, stormwater, water/wastewater, geotechnical engineering, and environment/ecology. Coordinate with utility stakeholders and regulatory agencies and prepare permit application materials. Review shop drawings and contractor submittals for compliance with construction documents. Work under the direction of Senior Staff and collaborate with CADD staff within the group. Qualifications Civil Technician or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) with 7-10 continuous years of relevant experience in Ontario. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, InRoads or OpenRoads and strong computer skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with TAC standards, OPS, OTM and municipal/regional design and drafting standards (City of London, City of Kitchener, Region of Waterloo). Well‑developed written communication skills and the ability to integrate illustrations and diagrams into written materials. Organized, motivated team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.
