Anuvu is embarking on a new chapter with a focus on delivering high-speed connectivity and entertainment solutions for worldwide mobility markets. Role Summary Under the supervision of the development manager, the successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development and operation of a wireless in-flight service and entertainment solution. The role involves working on multiple projects in a Linux environment, developing web modules and components (primarily Angular 2+ for delivery and generic product), and analyzing new features or updates across varied technology stacks. Location: Anywhere in Canada or the United States. Remote or hybrid options available. What You’ll Be Doing Develop/Update Web portals using Angular 2+, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS Ensure compatibility of mock-ups across different browsers Set up development and production environments using standard Linux tools and software Analyze project specifications and provide relevant suggestions Participate in architectural design and analysis with architects and team leads Maintain existing modules/components and applications as needed Resolve issues caused by technical limitations on certain platforms Define tasks using Jira and estimate development time Conduct preliminary tests and unit tests Implement adjustments following QA recommendations Validate and test software on a variety of portable devices Create/update documentation throughout development Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the process Stay current with new Web integration technologies What We’re Looking For College or university diploma related to computer science Minimum 5 years of Web development experience (OOP) Minimum 3 years of Python experience (ideally Pyramid) Minimum 2 years of Web experience (HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript, Angular 8) Experience with Linux and LAMP architecture Experience developing RESTful/JSON APIs Experience in Linux environment development (Perl, Bash) DevOps experience (AWS, Docker, Jenkins) Server configuration experience is an asset (Web, DNS, DHCP, Memcached) Experience with other JavaScript frameworks is an asset (Meteor, React) Experience with Python frameworks such as Falcon, Pyramid is an asset English required Open-minded and flexible on mandate; strong teamwork and communication; problem-solving skills; willingness to learn Benefits A career with Anuvu offers a collaborative and innovative environment with competitive benefits, including medical and dental, disability and life insurance, generous vacation with holidays, an RRSP with employer contribution, flexible hours, employee assistance program, and more.
