Assistant Technical Director (ATD) – Pipeline As an ATD, you will assist Pipeline Technical Directors to ensure the smooth running of tools, software, and workflows used on award‑winning VFX and feature animation projects. You will collaborate closely with Pipeline TDs and artists to provide direct support and innovate on pipeline tools. Responsibilities Provide technical advice and support for artists. Monitor render farm, disk usage, and file transfers between sites. Contribute to testing and feedback for software releases from the R&D team. Design and write Python tools and scripts for shows. Communicate clearly and succinctly between technical developers and non‑technical artists. Qualifications Must have: Experience with Linux. Good knowledge of Maya. Strong Python scripting skills. Nice to have: Previous work experience in Visual Effects, Games, or related industry. Experience with DCC packages such as Houdini, Katana, Nuke, or Clarisse. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or a related field.
