Description Service New Brunswick Director Human Resources Business Partnerships Pay Band 7 Permanent Full-time Flexible Location within New Brunswick Open Competition Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join its People and Culture team as Director of Human Resources Business Partnerships. This exciting opportunity calls for a creative results-driven and self-motivated individual to lead the operational delivery of human resources across the organization. As a key member of the People and Culture management team the HRBP Director will provide leadership oversight and expert guidance to specialized teams supporting critical HR functions including: Position classification Client / business partnerships Employee and union relations Disability management Wellness and safety Performance management Policy interpretation Business-related recruitment. To succeed in this role the Director must bring strong strategic thinking operational expertise and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. They must navigate complex challenges with confidence and agility while promoting a people-centered approach that aligns with SNBs values and priorities. A deep understanding of organizational dynamics coupled with a proven ability to lead change and foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement will be essential. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing talent within their team contributing to strategic planning and policy development and delivering impactful briefings and presentations to the Executive Management Team in support of SNBs Strategic Plan and its province-wide initiatives. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS University degree in Business Administration Public Administration Social Sciences or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of human resources work experience is required with a minimum of 3 years management experience. An equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered. OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS If the candidate is not in the Fredericton area this position will require regular travel to SNB Headquarters based on business arising. This position requires some travelling within the province and flexibility in working hours with occasional evening or weekend work may also be required.
