Join to apply for the Payroll Administrator role at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar. The Keg Steakhouse + Bar provided pay range: CA$58,000.00/yr – CA$65,000.00/yr. Base pay range: $58,000–$65,000 per year. The Payroll Administrator plays a key role in supporting our restaurant and corporate teams by ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with both Canadian and U.S. regulations. You will work closely with Operations, Human Resources, and Finance to keep employee records up to date and provide fast, friendly service for our managers and team members when questions arise. Key Responsibilities Process biweekly and semi‑monthly payrolls for hourly and salaried team members across Canadian and U.S. locations Handle off‑cycle payrolls, garnishments, and benefit deductions Maintain accurate employee data (new hires, terminations, job changes) Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting Prepare and submit ROEs, T4s, W‑2s, and annual returns Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and state payroll laws Respond to payroll inquiries promptly and professionally Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance teams and support continuous process improvements What You Bring 3+ years of payroll experience (hospitality/retail/multi‑location preferred) Canadian and U.S. payroll experience PCP designation or in progress preferred Strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practices Experience with payroll/HRIS platforms (Dayforce preferred, ADP, Payworks, etc.) and Microsoft Excel Detail‑oriented, problem‑solving, and customer service skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Completion of accounting courses is an asset Additional Information Based out of our Richmond, BC office Some travel may be required Occasional overtime Apply now to help ensure accurate, timely payroll and support a people‑first culture through exceptional service.
