The Winnipeg office serves as a central hub to a diverse team of design professionals working on projects across the public and private sectors, throughout the prairies and across Canada.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with the project design lead(s) to realize the design vision for the project(s)Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawingsManage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.Manage a team of consultantsEnsure clear client communicationProvide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targetsManage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.Supporting the team on pursuing work through assisting with RFP preparation, including schedule and feesQualificationsRegistered architect in Manitoba (MAA), or eligibility to be registered in the provinceMinimum of 7 years experience working in a similar rolePreference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment, and BluebeamExperience with Healthcare or Security & Defense projects would be considered an assetBilingual (English and French) would be considered an assetAbout UsWhy Choose Us?Architecture49 is a growing firm with promising career opportunities for talented people.
