The bank’s independent internal audit division (IGAD) has over 1,200 professionals worldwide, including a dedicated team of 60 auditors for the Americas (SGIAA). Responsibilities Participate in regional or global IT audits, including dedicated IT function audits or integrated audits with business/financial auditors. Independently design diagnostic matrices, identify data quality use cases, and develop sampling strategies; present concise findings to IGAD management and auditees. Keep audit management informed of significant audit issues and events that may impact the company. Write clear, impactful findings and audit reports that add value to the organization. Follow up diligently on audit recommendations and action plans. Contribute to risk assessment, internal control evaluations, and other processes that identify audit plan areas. Support department‑wide transformation projects (data analytics, digital transformation, etc.) and communicate and implement changes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a business discipline. Minimum 3 years of information systems experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions. Knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies. Familiarity with governance, projects, developments, SDLC, production, security, risk management, disaster recovery, and technical infrastructure components. Experience with IS/IT processes (incident, change, release, configuration management, etc.). Understanding of IT security concepts, vulnerability testing, and security exploits. Knowledge of database management systems (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle), major computing platforms (Windows, UNIX), client‑server architectures, and network components (firewalls, routers, switches, IAPs). Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies (vulnerability scanners, penetration testing). Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 17799, COBIT, COSO, FFIEC, and the Volker Rule. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
