Saskatoon, Canada Skyline Designs Full time

Join the Skyline Designs Team Skyline Designs is entering an exciting new chapter of growth and creativity — and we’re looking for a talented Architectural Technologist ready to grow with us. This role offers rapid growth potential for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys leading projects from concept to completion, and is eager to take an active role in shaping how our team continues to evolve. At Skyline Designs, we’re more than just a design and drafting firm – we’re a creative powerhouse located in the heart of Downtown Saskatoon. From custom homes to light commercial layouts, our projects reflect our passion for thoughtful, purpose-driven design. Our studio blends the best of a traditional drafting firm with the expansive vision of a full-scale architectural practice. We’re a smaller close-knit team that takes projects from concept to construction – whether it’s custom designs, 3D visualizations, or permit‑ready construction drawings, we ensure every line drawn serves a purpose. As we continue to grow with an expanding portfolio and a newly renovated space downtown, we’re on the lookout for a Revit‑savvy technologist. If you’re someone who loves being part of a high‑energy, design‑driven team, this is the opportunity for you We work hard, we play hard, and most importantly, we keep things fun and engaging. Come join us Your Role: As part of our tight‑knit, design‑forward team, you’ll dive into projects that span everything from custom home design to creative adaptations of existing builder plans. You’ll be hands‑on translating client ideas into detailed, permit‑ready drawing sets that bring ideas to life. Collaborating closely with other designers and engineers, you’ll help ensure compliance with building codes, zoning bylaws, and, above all, client expectations. This is a place where your ideas are welcomed alongside your initiative and career growth. Your Responsibilities: Create, develop, and modify residential floor plans and refine existing layouts to meet builder and client specifications. Translate design concepts into construction‑ready drawings suitable for permitting and builds. Use Revit to maintain consistent drawing standards across projects, ensuring clarity, quality, and visual coherence. Manage multiple drafting projects, prioritizing work based on deadlines and project stage, while balancing quality and speed. Collaborate with designers, engineers and team members to incorporate structural and design feedback. Your Qualifications: Diploma in Architectural Technologies (or similar Technologist Diploma). Architecture degrees are not currently applicable. Minimum 1‑3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within residential architecture or custom home design. Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of residential construction and Saskatchewan building practices. Commercial knowledge considered an asset. Proactive, collaborative, and receptive to direction, with a genuine care for producing excellent work. Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines. Your Benefits & Extras: Competitive Salary - $60,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and skill level. Flexible Summer Hours - from April to September, enjoy Friday afternoons off by slightly extending your workday Monday through Thursday. Clear Growth Path - opportunities to expand your role as you demonstrate strengths in leadership, design, or project ownership. Team Perks - monthly lunches, casual dress code, and parking allotment to make your day‑to‑day more enjoyable. Performance Incentives: annual and project‑based bonuses to give you options for additional income. Sound like your type of job? Please apply We’re excited to meet the next member of our team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
