We are currently recruiting for an Analyst, Corporate Finance in our Montréal office. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.You will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of companies, which includes several publicly traded corporations. You will contribute to identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities, forming partnerships, and executing on investments and M&A transactions that align with the company’s long-term goals.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to Associate Vice-President, Corporate Finance, your key responsibilities will include:Participate in the process of supporting potential business acquisitions, divestitures, or investmentsDevelop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and analyses for valuation purposes (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, previous transactions, etc.)Prepare in-depth analyses and opportunity studies supporting major capital allocation decisionsPerform analyses to assess the return on investment of various organic growth projects submitted by business unitsPrepare investment recommendations and presentations for submission to senior management and the Board of DirectorsAttend meetings with senior management to present the results of analysesSupport business units in maintaining up-to-date corporate forecasts and long-term modelsBenchmark the Corporation's financial and operational results against industry peers by conducting market researchSupport business units through various initiatives aimed at improving their operational and financial efficiencyWork collaboratively with executive, finance, and legal teams to drive the execution of the Corporation’s strategyRequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fieldWall Street Prep, Training the Street designation (formerly The Marquee Group) or equivalent is an assetCPA, CFA or CBV designation (or in process of completion) is an assetMinimum of 2 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, investments or other relevant business areaStrong analytical skills and ability to summarize and present informationStrong ability to build and maintain complex financial modelsProficiency in software tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerpointAbility to work effectively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAccountability and attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and team spiritThe position requires an advanced level of oral and written French and English, as the successful candidate will interact daily with representatives of the Group's various entities based throughout North America and EuropeWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
