Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place We’re looking for a Content Designer II [Financial Services] to join our Content Design team. As a Content Designer II at Lightspeed, you’ll craft clear, consistent, and user‑centered content that helps our users succeed. You’ll work across departments with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other Content Designers to improve our in‑product content and enhance the overall product experience for our users. You’ll also collaborate closely with peers and partners to explore how emerging tools like AI can improve efficiency, consistency and impact across the product experience. This is a unique opportunity to work in a company that is the leader in its market and continues to invest in expanding its advantage. In addition, you’ll work in an exciting, fast‑paced environment with experienced industry leaders. What you’ll be doing Work directly with Designers and Product Managers to create clear and consistent product content for new and existing Financial Services features in our platform. Continuously develop, edit, and review strategic UX copy across multiple squads. Create in‑product workflows that will assist in onboarding and feature adoption. Conduct content audits to identify areas of improvement in user experiences as it relates to content. Work in an Agile environment in sprints across multiple teams. Identify user needs using data and feedback across multiple teams/stakeholders and prioritize content as necessary. Help standardize terminology across content types (in‑app, glossaries, content guidelines, etc.). Work hands‑on with features to test functionality, provide usability feedback, and improve the user experience. Partner with Design, Engineering, and Product Management to become familiar with new features and how they enhance our customer’s experience. Use AI‑assisted tools to test and scale UX content while maintaining quality and voice consistency. Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities where AI can enhance user experiences (e.g., personalization, content recommendations, or contextual help). Help define content patterns, prompts, or tone guidelines for AI‑generated or AI‑supported interfaces. Contribute to team discussions and experiments around responsible AI use in content and design workflows. What you need to bring 3–5 years of UX writing or content design experience in a SaaS or fintech environment. Familiarity with financial, regulatory, or payments‑related products is a strong plus. Degree/Qualifications in English, Design, Technical Communications, or a related field. Experience designing and delivering customer‑facing UX content. Experience of creating and maintaining editorial standards in a style guide. Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. A proactive and open‑minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results. The ability to wear multiple hats, organize work, and operate in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrate experience balancing multiple priorities at the same time. Collaborative mindset, working with others across the company and within the Content Design team. Experience delivering at pace using Agile methodologies. Encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value and thinking creatively. Spot warning signs of things going wrong and provide a decisive response. Make effective decisions by pragmatically weighing the complexities involved against the need to act. Have clear operational awareness and be able to balance the need for new features with the need to maintain and support the existing systems. Curiosity about emerging technologies, especially how AI can support creativity and UX writing. Experience using AI or automation tools (e.g., for content ideation, QA, or workflow optimization) is a plus. A growth mindset and eagerness to explore new ways of working with AI and data‑driven insights. Experience contributing to or learning from AI‑related initiatives within design, research, or product teams. What's in it for you Join a fast‑paced, high‑growth company.
