Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and organized Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to manage and coordinate the maintenance of our fleet assets. This role involves dispatching, working with vendors, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service. The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance operations, dispatching, and customer service, and can manage multiple tasks across various customers daily.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate multiple maintenance orders across our fleet each daySet pick-up and delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirementsInterface with customers to resolve issues and identify improvement opportunitiesCommunicate carrier/customer accessorial costs in a timely mannerMonitor carrier performance and recommend routing changes as neededEvaluate carrier alternatives and tender freight based on cost and service requirementsMaximize profit margins while meeting customer requirementsWork closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless fleet operationsMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)High School diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years’ experience in shipping, maintenance, transportation coordination, or relevant certificationThorough knowledge of maintenance and transportation operationsExperience with transportation management softwareProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customersFrench speaking and writing - an assetExperience in maintenance or dispatching roles is highly preferredWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage Success in this role enables greater responsibilities and promotions.
