OverviewInformation Technology Support Analyst I (Bilingual)Duration: Long Term ContractLocation: Mississauga, Ontario — onsite, 5 days per week.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support: Provide first and second-level support to users for hardware, software, and network issues, both on-site and remotely.Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals) and software, ensuring they are running properly.Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, from login issues to hardware or software glitches.Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance and apply software updates and security patches to end-user devices.Network Connectivity: Ensure devices can connect to LAN/WAN and troubleshoot connectivity problems.Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for technical issues and solutions, and keep user tickets updated.Customer Service: Use strong customer service, empathy, and communication to assist users and defuse frustrated clients; liaise with other IT team members and third-party vendors as needed.Training: Train users on basic computer maintenance and management when necessary.QualificationsStrong knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS), and software applications (Microsoft Office).Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Superior communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment.CertificationsITIL Foundation Certification (Optional but Valuable).Certification in Asset Management or Related Fields (Optional but Valuable).Additional DetailsDirect message the job poster from Raas Infotek.
