As a Claims Support Representative, Bodily Injury you will work in collaboration with claims representatives and other key stakeholders to provide high level investigation support through internal and external systems on bodily injury claims and claimant background information while documenting findings according to our best practices. How You Will Create Impact Utilizing internal claims systems and external tools to complete advanced desk bound investigation of files referred from Bodily Injury team members. Searching social media, online sources, public information searches as required. Collaborating with claims staff and other internal and external departments through the investigation process. How You Will Succeed You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations. You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions. Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages. You’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers. To Join Our Team You have 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field. You have experience using social media and other online resources to research and source information. You have a post‑secondary education. You have or are willing to work towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Having previous experience in desktop investigations is considered an asset. Having knowledge of bodily injury claims process is considered an asset.
