This SRE-focused role is central to improving infrastructure reliability, observability, and automation. You’ll work closely with development and support teams to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of a range of DevOps tools across both on‑premise and Azure cloud environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport & AdoptionEnsure availability and performance of DevOps platform tools (Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Jira, etc.)Operate under a Follow‑The‑Sun model and maintain SLA commitmentsAssist development teams in implementing CI/CD best practices and toolsCommunicate effectively on incident resolution and release coordinationTooling & AutomationInstall, upgrade, and manage DevOps tooling and related infrastructurePrototype and validate new tools via PoCs to improve the software factoryReduce manual workloads by developing automation solutions and chatbotsContribute to cloud transformation initiatives with Microsoft Azure Monitoring & SLOsDefine and implement KPIs to establish and track SLOs, SLAs, and SLIsMonitor system health and performance, ensuring high availabilityKnowledge Sharing & GovernanceDocument processes and create best‑practice guidelinesAct as the regional expert on CI/CD tooling for the AMER regionParticipate in knowledge‑sharing communities related to deployment and testingRequired Skills and QualificationsTechnical EnvironmentMust‑Have Tools: Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, Monitoring ToolsCI/CD Stack: GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, XLDeploy, JiraBuild & Artifact Tools: Maven, MSBuild, npm, Nexus, Artifactory, SonarAutomation & Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, ChatbotsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, platform support, or software factory administrationStrong autonomy and initiative, with ability to lead discussions and engage with stakeholdersProven ability to analyze complex cross‑team technical issues and deliver pragmatic solutionsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), including tool presentations and documentationNice to HaveExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD modernization in the cloudKnowledge of SRE principles and performance observability (SLOs/SLIs)Hybrid work model: 2‑3 days on‑site per week in MontrealCandidate must be located in Montreal or willing to relocateEnglish fluency, French is a plusLocation & CompensationMontreal, Quebec, CanadaSalary: CA$80,000.00 – CA$100,000.00 (based on experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr
