Travel Operations Coordinator

Travel Operations Coordinator Modern Travel is growing - and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail‑driven, and travel‑loving individual to join our team as a Travel Operations Coordinator. In this role, you’ll work directly with our founder to help facilitate corporate and group travel programs—from sourcing airline quotes and managing manifests to tracking payments and keeping every detail organized behind the scenes. You’ll also assist with a select number of high‑value client trips, bringing travel experiences to life from the operational side. This is a hands‑on, systems‑focused role that’s ideal for someone who loves structure, organization, and communication—and wants to learn what it takes to run a successful travel business from the inside out. What You’ll Work On Coordinate group and corporate travel logistics (airlines, manifests, supplier communication) Manage and maintain detailed spreadsheets and travel data for active programs Track booking progress, payments, and timelines in Tern (our travel management platform) Support the founder with VIP client trips and personal travel planning Assist with preparing client documents, itineraries, and travel materials Keep internal systems, templates, and reports updated and organized Communicate professionally with suppliers, partners, and clients when needed Provide regular progress updates and status summaries The Details Part‑time to start (approx. 10–20 hours/week) Remote position, Ontario‑based required Flexible schedule with weekly check‑ins and task updates Growth potential as the role and business expand Why Join Us Modern Travel is a boutique Canadian host agency and travel brand built around connection, systems, and experiences that actually mean something.
