We are looking for an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team As a key player of the Sales Department this position is responsible for assisting in the development of processes through the use of design & simulation software. Supporting the NASG team on high potential new business, running simulations, developing the best possible material utilization options and developing process layouts.Our success is our success. Our sales have grown annually at a compounded rate of 18.0% for the last eight years, tripling our business, while making us one of the largest leading Tier II automotive stamping and assembly suppliers.What you get in returnThe most competitive pay in the industry based upon your skill level, along with a full benefits package.The position duties will include, but are not limited toAssist with setting up tool geometry, sheet bodies and running forming simulations.Part model changes when required by customers.Analyze simulation results & recommend changes to Advanced Process Group LeaderAssist sales teams as required with customer technical presentation preparation.Using software provided estimate blank sizes for customer quotes.Present material nesting options for best process while minimizing material usage.Work with engineering teams to make changes to simulations & verify results as needed during die development.Track all research & development data, ensuring it is well documented in NASG standard format.Manage changes in an orderly fashion always ensuring the files are properly filed and up to dateWork with all employees to continuously improve quality and productionSuggest methods of improvement (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, and/or improvementsQualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited toHigh School DiplomaMechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical EngineeringProficient in use of 3D CAD programs, preferred NXKnowledge with Auto Form simulation softwareTS16949/ISO14001/Designer Baseline TrainingWhy NASGCompetitive payPension Contribution and matchGrowth opportunitiesSafety focused cultureNorth American Stamping Group is a privately held company founded in 1978.
