Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Provides quality Speech-Language Pathology services, consistent with discipline and professional standards, including: prevention, identification, evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, counselling, treatment, management and education of communication and swallowing disorders; education and supervision of students and professionals; and research. Maintains professional accountability, professional judgment and reasoning with a high level of communication and collaboration.Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited/recognized university is required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Must be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM). for example, Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
