In this leadership role, you will not only be responsible for assembling high-quality sub-assemblies and productized applications but also for guiding and supporting the assembly team to ensure efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. If you have a strong mechanical mindset, enjoy hands-on work, and are passionate about leading a team in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for youWhat You’ll Do:Lead, mentor, and motivate the mechanical assembly team to meet production goals and uphold Vention’s high standards.Assemble a variety of components, from simple to complex, including palletizers, conveyors, robot cells, machine tending applications, and safety enclosures based on engineering instructions.Build and integrate automation components to complete custom automation designs.Conduct quality control checks before shipping to ensure all products meet Vention's high standards.Oversee and coordinate team workflows, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.Pick and pack orders in accordance with Vention's quality standards.Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Support team members in troubleshooting mechanical or process-related issues.Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing integration and warehouse processes.Update internal systems with assembly details to ensure accurate tracking.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.Qualifications1 to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment.Technical diploma in mechanical engineering, robotics, or relevant hands-on experience.Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with using tools.Experience with data entry or relevant administrative tasks.Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.Exceptional attention to detail to uphold customer satisfaction and product quality.Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.Additional InformationHow We Take Care of YouFlexible paid time off and remote work policies.Complimentary beverages and snacks so that you are fuelled and ready for your day.Global comprehensive health plans so you feel your best.Career growth opportunities.
