Your role As a developer on the Streaming team, you will maintain and evolve the audio‑video streaming platform used by our applications such as TOU.TV, Gem, OHdio, and radio‑canada.ca. You will develop new high‑value‑added features, modernise the current platform, and apply best industry practices in software development. Participate in code reviews. Participate in the development of backlog stories. Participate and contribute to agile ceremonies (retrospectives, scrums, groomings). Participate in the solution’s deployments. Qualifications College or university diploma. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Excellent command of C#. Excellent command of ASP.NET Core and Web API. Excellent knowledge of REST API principles. Excellent knowledge of MongoDB and Redis. Knowledge of MS SQL an asset. Good command of Git. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud an asset. Knowledge of audio and video codecs (H.264, AAC, AV1, H.265, MP3) an asset. Knowledge of MP4, MP3 media containers an asset. Knowledge of Dash, HLS, and Progressive Smooth streaming technology an asset. Knowledge of microservice architectures an asset. Rigor, autonomy, proactivity, and resourcefulness. Fluency in French and functional knowledge of written and spoken English an asset. Please note this is a 12‑month contract position, renewable annually.
