Biomedical Engineering Technologist Interior Health Authority – Penticton Regional Hospital, B.C. (Permanent, full‑time) Interior Health is looking for a permanent full‑time Biomedical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on safe, efficient, and effective use of medical technology at our growing 400‑bed tertiary hospital. Responsibilities Apply best practices and knowledge to ensure safe and effective use of biomedical equipment. Evaluate and perform technical assessments on new medical equipment and technologies. Maintain and repair medical equipment in the workshop and patient‑care areas. Manage medical equipment inventory, source parts, place orders, and liaise with manufacturers and vendors. Perform scheduled inspections and tests while maintaining related records. Provide educational support and technical information to clinical staff. Qualifications • Biomedical Engineer with strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, collaborate, and communicate effectively. Work Schedule Monday‑Friday 08:00 – 16:00. Weekends and statutory holidays are off.
