It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part of our growth and extraordinarily bright futureJob OverviewAs a Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring Site Quality Programs comply with all company policies and procedures and all customer, GFSI and regulatory requirements. Also serves as the SQF Practitioner for their sites. This role is a temporary 6 month contract with a standard 37.5 hour work week. Supporting both our Clark Brampton, ON facility & Rivermede Concord, ON facility.What You Will Get To DoOwner of all Compliance Programs including but not limited to: HACCP, SQF, CAPA, Food Defense, Calibration, TraceabilityOwnership includes planning, implementing, executing, and maintaining all aspects of these programs with a continuous improvement mindset to improve the Site Quality SystemsImplementation of corporate policies at the site levelServe as SQF PractitionerEnsure sites are prepared for all Internal, MDLZ, GFSI, Regulatory and Customer audits.Serve as Site Lead for all quality audits and regulatory visits.Serve as CAPA Lead for all NC’s identified during quality audits and regulatory visitsAssure compliance with the FDA/CFIA food lawsDevelop and deploy training on Food Safety & Quality Management in alignment with Corporate Quality, as per GFSI requirements and corporate policies to maintain or exceed target audit scores, while ensuring consistent compliance with national and international food industry standardsEnsure training and education for the food security team as well as for the operators that monitor critical pointsQualificationsWhat You Need For SuccessCompletion of a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Operations Management or a related field3 years of experience in Quality AssuranceTechnical knowledge of quality and food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Technical knowledge of Food Manufacturing processes, Sanitation and MicrobiologyExperience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e. CFIA, FDA)Submitting and implementing corrective/preventive actions plansProficient with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TeamsStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsAbility to work effectively and collaboratively with Plant Quality and Operations colleaguesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAble to document findings and data clearly, concisely, and accuratelyStrong analytical skills and attention to detailWell organized and self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and in cross-functional teamsStrong knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls and Quality SystemsStatistical processes and problem solving techniquesBenefitsWhat We OfferIt’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part our growth and extraordinarily bright future.As we grow, we are committed to preserve the parts of our diversity & culture that is unique, people focused and are core to our success at every size.
