About the CompanyJoin our team at St-Albert Cheese Co‑op – the Canadian capital of the curds, situated in St‑Albert, ON, a 45‑minute drive from downtown OttawaWorking at the St‑Albert Cheese Co‑op means working for and with people that care about your success and well‑being because we know that our employees’ success is ours and people are at the center of our daily prioritiesBenefitsBusiness stability (we celebrated our 130th anniversary in 2024)Competitive compensation, complete benefits plan, performance bonus and Group RRSPGreat opportunities to professional developmentWork‑family flexibilityAn employee discount for all in‑store and restaurant productsYOUR CHALLENGESCreate, prepare, and update sales reports, demand planning reports, and short‑, medium‑, and long‑term sales reports (business review, dashboard, return on investment for promotions, forecasts).Keep information up to date on major customer portals (listings, promotions, status or price changes, sales reports, price lists, promotional sheets, promotional materials, etc.) Update internal IT tools, such as keeping files up to date in Office 365 and ensuring information is shared with Companion and Salesforce (creation of new accounts).Share and update production forecasts (promotions, new products, new major customers).Coordinate sample shipments for retail, food service, and industrial customers and manage and schedule requests for promotional materials from merchandisers and stores.Plan and coordinate various special projects or commercial events as well as plan meetings and make the necessary arrangements to ensure they run smoothly (welcoming participants, booking rooms, catering, etc.).Manage and update the website and various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. and translate various documents from French to English and vice versa.WHAT YOU HAVERelevant university or college degree.2‑3 years of sales administration experience working with clients and handling administrative tasks.Consumer goods experience working for a Distributor, Manufacturer or Retailer (considered an asset).Strong Excel proficiency is required, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power BI.Organization skills, detail oriented and focused on operational sales excellence.Work ScheduleDays, 20h per week, on site, Monday to Friday for 4h per day, & must also be available on weekends on an occasional basis for Trade Shows.Criminal Background CheckDuring the hiring process, we proceed with a criminal record check, which is an essential condition to work at St‑Albert Cheese. You will be notified in advance and your authorization will be required before proceeding.
