The team tackles problems that range from infrastructure to UI, data engineering to security—working in a scale‑first, start‑up mind‑set.Role OverviewThis Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Multi‑Product Enablement (MPE) initiative, delivering a unified experience for discovering, purchasing, and managing multiple Dropbox products. MPE powers a seamless checkout, flexible trials, and centralized subscription management, enabling admins and teams to focus on work rather than tools.Key ResponsibilitiesDirectly manage a team of 12‑25 engineersPartner with Product Managers to plan roadmaps and sprintsOwn high‑quality execution on critical, highly visible business objectivesMake trade‑offs between feature work and long‑term technical debtEnsure excellence in software quality, engineering practices, and operationsLead Agile processes—backlog grooming, stand‑ups, retrospectives, etc.Review and approve engineering designs, setting technical direction in collaboration with Technical LeadsDrive cross‑org initiatives while delivering on execution responsibilitiesConduct career conversations and set career plans for direct reportsRequirementsBS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 8 years of people‑management experience leading engineering teamsMinimum of 10 years of software engineering experienceExperience managing engineering organizations of 20+ and managersExperience on a consumer user‑facing teamExperience running Agile processes (backlog, stand‑ups, retros)Domain expertise in subscription commerce, billing, or payments systems, with technical understanding of identity models, entitlements, and license managementPreferred QualificationsPast leadership of subscription lifecycle, checkout, or billing systems at SaaS or consumer‑tech companiesProven partnership with product and design teams to deliver high‑quality user‑facing subscription and admin experiences at scaleExperience managing cross‑functional initiatives tied to high‑visibility launchesCompensationCanada Pay Range: $200,600 – $271,400 CAD (annual salary + OTE).
