We recruit on a global basis and set a very high standard for people joining the company. Role Overview We are hiring a Customer Success – Team Manager to support Canonical’s growth. In this role you will lead a global Customer Success Manager (CSM) team, guiding them through account management, coaching, and process improvement to drive revenue retention, upsells, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Strategic planning and analysis: Prepare communication plans, team meetings, and performance reviews. Review key metrics regularly, develop strategies to enhance engagement, improve retention, and drive cross‑sell opportunities. Customer interactions and support: Resolve escalated customer issues that require expertise and coordinate with the team to ensure timely resolutions. Team management: Mentor and coach CSMs to grow their skills, conduct performance reviews, recognize excellence, and set individual growth goals. Cross‑functional collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support to align on customer needs, share feedback, and coordinate joint success initiatives. Documentation and reporting: Create and maintain high‑quality documentation of new processes, and report performance insights to upper management. Qualifications Excellent academic results from school and university. Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Communication or STEM. Strong knowledge and passion for Customer Success, revenue management and technology, with experience in SaaS or software industries. Track record of driving exceptional Customer Success outcomes. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious, flexible, scientific. Creative problem‑solving and cross‑team collaboration skills. Experience growing and developing a CSM team. Hands‑on approach to using data to drive team activities and continuous improvement. Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events. Nice‑to‑have skills Proficiency (written and spoken) in Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French or Italian, in addition to excellent command of English.
