As a Compliance Analyst - Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's integrity by developing and maintaining robust anti-money laundering (AML) systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business requirements, design innovative technical solutions, and implement efficient coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Python Development:
    • Write, test, and deploy high-quality Python code for AML systems.
    • Optimize database queries and performance tuning.
    • Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • AML Systems:
    • Develop and maintain AML systems to detect and prevent financial crime.
    • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance AML capabilities.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and anomalies.
    • Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable insights.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including compliance officers, risk managers, and IT professionals.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Python programming
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle)
  • 3+ years of experience in Java programming
  • Experience with Big Data and cloud database technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of risk and compliance principles in the financial industry

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with XML technologies, statistics, and AML systems
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques

Languages: French, English.Required: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with US-based colleagues and partners.

Hybrid Role:  While we offer a flexible work arrangement, this role requires a 50% on-site commitment at our Montreal office.

En tant qu'analyste de la conformité - développeur Python, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la protection de l'intégrité de notre organisation en développant et en maintenant des systèmes robustes de lutte contre le blanchiment d'argent (AML). Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour analyser les exigences commerciales complexes, concevoir des solutions techniques innovantes et mettre en œuvre des pratiques de codage efficaces.

Principales responsabilités:
Développement Python:
  • Écrire, tester et déployer du code Python de haute qualité pour les systèmes AML.
  • Optimiser les requêtes de base de données et le réglage des performances.
  • Collaborer avec les analystes commerciaux et les chefs de projet pour comprendre et traduire les exigences commerciales en spécifications techniques.
Systèmes AML:
  • Développer et maintenir des systèmes AML pour détecter et prévenir la criminalité financière.
  • Effectuer des tests et un dépannage du système pour garantir des performances optimales.
  • Restez informé des tendances du secteur et des changements réglementaires pour améliorer les capacités AML.
Analyse des données:
  • Analyser de grands ensembles de données pour identifier les tendances et les anomalies.
  • Utiliser des techniques d'exploration de données pour extraire des informations précieuses.
Collaboration:
  • Travailler efficacement avec des équipes interfonctionnelles, notamment des responsables de la conformité, des gestionnaires des risques et des professionnels de l'informatique.
  • Partagez vos connaissances et vos meilleures pratiques avec les membres de l'équipe.

Qualifications requises:
  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe
  • 5 années ou plus d'expérience en programmation Python
  • Forte maîtrise des technologies SQL et des bases de données (MS SQL, Oracle)
  • 3 années ou plus d'expérience en programmation Java
  • Expérience avec les technologies Big Data et les bases de données cloud
  • Fortes compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
  • Compréhension des principes de risque et de conformité dans le secteur financier

Qualifications préférées:
  • Expérience avec les technologies XML, les statistiques et les systèmes AML
  • Connaissance des techniques d'apprentissage automatique et d'intelligence artificielle

Langues: français, anglais.
Requis: Solides compétences en communication en anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral, pour collaborer efficacement avec des collègues et partenaires basés aux États-Unis.

Poste hybride: Bien que nous proposions un aménagement du temps de travail flexible, ce poste nécessite un engagement de 50 % sur place dans notre bureau de Montréal.
