Senior Wine Consultant/Sommelier

We are seeking two Senior Wine Consultants / Sommeliers to join our Hospitality Team on a fulltime or part time basis.

The ideal candidates has formal wine education (WSET 3 or Sommelier certification preferred) and at least five years progressive wine service experience in a high end restaurant, wine bar or winery.

You will deliver positive and memorable guest tasting experiences, developing relationships that lead to wine sales, wine club memberships, and increased brand loyalty.

You are proficient at engaging guests to determine how wine relates to their lifestyle, their wine preferences, and recommending which wines will best suit their taste.

You understand the financial aspects of running multiple tasting bars and are able to manage wine inventory to minimize waste and write-offs.

You are an excellent oral and written communicator who can represent the Strewn brand in presentations and virtual wine tastings.

You are a self-motivated, high energy team player with a positive attitude and a professional manner.

You can multi-task, handle issues and solve problems that arise with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
