Job Description
We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Manitoba-Winnipegregion.
Duties for this position include (but not limited to):
- Execute the assigned service activities for ELGA and process equipment range of products for the United States.
- Oversee direct onsite service, support and installation to our customers in a timely manner as required.
- Sales support is an important focus area in this role. Must promote equipment and services by performing customer demonstrations, participation in trade shows, follow-up sales opportunities and any other related activity as required.
- Up to 60% travel is required for this position.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
- 10+ years of experience servicing laboratory based equipment, providing support and self-managing.
- Experience in the service industry, customer focused, professional demeanor.
- Excellent knowledge of digital circuits, wiring, programming logic, electrical components, electronics, processors and mathematics.
- Commissioning and validation experience are a plus.
- A strong knowledge in mechanical instrumentation is required.
- Excellent understanding of water chemistry and water purification technologies and their applications.
- Excellent communications skills.
