TalentWorld is recruiting a HRIS Specialist in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize cloud based HRIS applications such as Kenexa, Dayforce, and PeopleSoft.
  • Lead system deployment projects, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Conduct data validation and cleansing processes to maintain accuracy and integrity within the HRIS.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS system usage.
  • Collaborate with HRIS vendors to address technical issues and negotiate contracts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in HR technology.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and data privacy requirements.
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into key HR metrics and trends.
  • Support HR initiatives such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HRIS systems and processes, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive strategic HR initiatives and projects.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HRIS systems and processes, making recommendations for enhancements or upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS or similar role.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based HRIS applications like Kenexa BrassRing, Dayforce, and PeopleSoft.
  • Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Spotfire, Power BI.
  • Eligible for CPHR and CIM designations.
  • Experience leading system deployment projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulations.
  • Ability to generate reports and analytics for HR metrics and trends.
Employment Details
  • Salary: $70k - $80k
  • Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
