Our client, a leading integrated industrial services and construction group with over 40 years of experience in the western and northern Canadian markets, is seeking experienced Hydrovac / Airvac Operators to support project work across BC and Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain the Hydrovac truck, ensuring routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Transport cargo and equipment securely and efficiently.
  • Complete daily maintenance checks and adhere to equipment specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, monitoring its performance and mechanical fitness.
  • Manage and report on vehicle logs, maintenance, and incident reports.
  • Handle loading and unloading of construction materials, ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience operating Hydrovac equipment; Airvac training will be provided as needed.
  • Valid Class 1 driver's licence with air endorsement preferred; minimum Class 3 required.
  • Proven ability to work independently and adapt to varying work conditions.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and a clean drivers abstract.
  • Excellent communication skills and capability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including working in diverse weather conditions and managing physically challenging tasks.
