Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate the design phase of construction projects and ensure seamless communication between the client, design team, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design phase of construction projects, ensuring all requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the design team, conveying necessary data and information to facilitate project progress.
  • Conduct site verification through regular site visits and meetings with relevant parties to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the design phase.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve any conflicts or discrepancies in project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of design activities, milestones achieved, and any potential risks or delays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from design through to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
