Job Description: Hollingsgate Recruitment is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for a reputable Managed Services Client. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and excels in a customer-facing environment. The successful candidate will manage patching operations and understand the entire lifecycle of vulnerability management without directly engaging in penetration testing.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the patching of vulnerabilities across various client systems.
  • Thoroughly understand and maintain the patch lifecycle, from detection through testing, deployment, and verification.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain the patch management process and any security measures implemented.
  • Support the remediation process by evaluating the effectiveness of patches and recommending further actions.
  • Engage in routine vulnerability assessments and collaborate with teams to prioritize security efforts based on risk analysis.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity with a robust understanding of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
  • Proven expertise in network security and patch management environments.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to translate complex security information into layman's terms.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Required certification: CompTIA Security+.
  • Desired certification: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a plus but not mandatory.
