As our team grows and projects take off, we are looking for an On-site Construction Coordinator to provide administration support to our project execution team. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and thorough, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The main focus will be on coordinating construction activities, including permitting and utility locates.

We are also seeking a Field Health & Safety Advisor to apply expertise in OHS leadership, safe work methodology, and standardized best practices to support our projects and trade staff in Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba. This field-based position requires candidates to have experience in orientations, inspections, incident reporting, monitoring credentials and qualifications, and identifying & mitigating hazards on site. Additionally, candidates should ensure all employees have the necessary training tickets (e.g., fall protection, First Aid, WHMIS/GHS) and work on reducing risks through reporting and statistics compilation. The ability to work 21 & 7 shifts on projects across Canada is essential.

Your background and credentials would include:

  • 5+ years of field OHS Leadership experience in the energy sector, preferably in utility construction
  • Active National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification
  • Professional accreditations such as CRSP, CUSP, CHSE, etc., are an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing project-specific safety plans and training
  • Ensure compliance with provincial health and safety legislation, client requirements, and company policies
  • Develop and implement project-specific Emergency Response Plans (ERP)
  • Provide support in hazard assessments and Safe Job Plans development
  • Conduct H&S training and orientations
  • Monitor subcontractor safety performance and conduct audits
  • Perform inspections, identify corrective actions, and evaluate inspection reports
  • Participate in incident investigations and maintain HSE documentation
  • Attend safety meetings and collaborate with WCB Claims Coordinator on injuries
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned
