Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct research to develop a deep understanding of our customers using quantitative and qualitative user research methods.
  2. Articulate findings and communicate insights to the team in a simple and clear manner.
  3. Help create deliverables such as living personas, empathy mapping, and experience mapping.
  4. Create wireframes in compliance with the standards of usability and accessibility.
  5. Ensure that the best practices are applied and that design decisions are always based on user research, usability testing, and data-driven insights.
  6. Perform usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.
  7. Design and scale models as per the supported media (Mobiles, Desktop, any other digital customer touchpoint).
  8. Create advanced prototypes to be used in User tests and to be used as requirement gathering artefacts by the Product Owners (POs) and Functional Analysts (FAs).
  9. Assist the Product Owner team to define, create and develop new enhancements and improvements in-line with business objectives and most importantly, the needs of the end user.
  10. Present the wireframes or prototypes to a large audience of different stakeholders.
  11. Ensure that the design deliverables are documented with specifications, creating a smooth transition between the design phase and the development phase.
  12. Provide support and attend the refinement sessions as needed to answer any design related questions.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, latest customer study and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve our website.
  14. Provide design guidance and feedback to the members of the UX team.

Requirements:
  1. Post-secondary degree in UX Design/Research.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in UX Design/Research.
  3. Experience in conducting research using a wide range of qualitative and quantitative UX research methods (field studies, usability test, card sorting, surveys, analytics, A/B testing).
  4. Experience using Adobe XD, Figma, UX Pin, or equivalent.
  5. Strong ability to explain design decisions and present complex interaction and user flows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
  8. Desire and ability to continuously learn and share the latest developments in ecommerce and UX/UI Design.
  9. Ability to work closely with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  10. Fully Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken is mandatory.
