We are seeking an experienced and strategic Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global payroll and benefits administration for our 300+ employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex payroll processes in both Canada and the US, and a proven track record of managing relationships with Employer of Record (EOR) partners for our APAC and European teams. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of payroll compliance, a passion for creating best-in-class benefits programs, and an interest in compensation strategy. Global Payroll Management: Oversee and manage 10 different payroll processes for our 300 employees across Canada, the US, Europe, and APAC. Manage relationships with our EOR partners (GP, Deel & Remote) to ensure accurate and timely payroll for our APAC and European teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. Administer all aspects of our employee perks and benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, and retirement plans (RRSP and 401K). Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and state payroll and benefits regulations, including pay equity legislation. Stay current on all new legislation and industry trends to ensure our policies and practices are up-to-date. Partner with the HR Operations Manager on compensation-related projects, including salary benchmarking and analysis. 4+ years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration, with a focus on multi-provincial and multi-state environments. ~ Experience working with EORs and managing payroll and benefits for a global workforce is highly desirable. ~ Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US payroll and benefits legislation, including pay equity. ~ Fluency in English and French is required. ~ Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems.
