We are looking for a qualified Jr. Electrical Engineer for any of our office locations.
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:- As an Electrical Engineer, you will perform load calculations, voltage drop, protective device selection/coordination and cable sizing
- Evaluate Electrical/Control systems, products, and components and provide single line drawings for various systems
- Able to develop technical studies, drawings and specifications
- Write reports and recommend equipment selection
- Incorporate Engineering Changes into existing designs
- Involvement in systems integration projects
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1 to 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience in progressively increasing roles
Skills: Working in MS Office Suite regularly, intermediate to advanced experience is considered a strong asset. Working in a collaborative, team environment with team members located across the country. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience in working with Naval Warships and/or within the shipbuilding industry is considered an asset. Experience with Shipconstructor considered an asset based on our upcoming projects. Experience building and maintaining electrical models with ETAP considered an asset.
