Accounting Assistant / Admin

Located in Taber, AB

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and Prepare Time Cards for Payroll on Semi-Monthly basis
  • Accurately Entering/Coding Payroll Data Daily
  • Accurately Entering Customer Billing Data Daily
  • Review and Process Receivables and Payables
  • Data Entry into Accounting System
  • Reception: mostly by Telephone, some in-person
  • General Office Duties, as required

Requirements:

  • Strong Understanding of the Accounting Cycle and Experience with Payroll
  • Strong Computer Skills, specifically MS Excel; Sage 300 Experience an asset
  • Ability to work Quickly and Efficiently while maintaining a high level of Accuracy
  • Detail Orientated with Ability to Work under Deadlines
  • Positive Attitude with a Desire to Learn and Grow
  • Able to Problem Solve and Comprehend Instructions
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively and Confidently

We Offer:

  • $24 – 29/ hour - based upon experience
  • 40 Hour Work Week; Monday – Friday
