The Dynata Senior Director role exists to drive profitable and sustainable business growth for our most important clients so that the clients would not consider taking their business elsewhere. We adopt a strategic and disciplined approach to managing accounts and set and follow a fruitful long-term account strategy that is measurable and can be used to track the success of the portfolio. We are the expert on the client and know what they need before they do.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead Dynata’s Canadian region and manage the Account to 3% growth YoY.
  2. Master Dynata products, services, pricing, and how to apply these to satisfy client needs and fulfill project requirements.
  3. Prospect and discover new key individuals in the account and build new relationships in your book of business.
  4. Be in person with the customer 5 times a week/20 meetings per month on average.
  5. Manage assigned accounts, utilizing knowledge to support the customer with Dynata products.
  6. Seek competitive insights and intelligence to inform the company of challenges and opportunities in the marketplace.
  7. Conduct discovery calls with decision makers and influencers.
  8. Partner with internal stakeholders to achieve successful client interactions and project outcomes.
  9. Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure account strategy is aligned with company goals and objectives.
  10. Be willing to travel 50%-70% of the time.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  1. Strong prospecting and closing skills.
  2. Strong client relationship building skills.
  3. Strong market research industry knowledge.
  4. Ability to forecast within a 3% margin of committed revenue.
  5. Ability to quickly build and manage a pipeline.
  6. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  7. Expert at discovery and understands the client’s needs beyond the details of a quote and leverages knowledge to uncover additional needs we can meet.
  8. Strong strategic thinking skills.
  9. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. 5+ years of closing experience and/or account management experience with a revenue objective.
  2. 3+ years of market research experience in sales or at a market research agency.
  3. Demonstrated experience of exceeding quota year over year.
  4. Experience working with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce or BOS), and web conferencing software (GoToMeeting or WebEx).
