What we offer

We are looking for a motivated, personable, and results-driven individual with a passion for the real estate industry to join our team as a Sales Consultant. This role is great for high-energy, experienced sales professionals with a proven track record.

What you’ll do

  • Represent Mattamy as the first point of contact for prospective purchasers.
  • Generate and follow-up on leads, qualifying and educating buyers on our products.
  • Provide an exceptional home buying experience by educating the buyer on the community, products, and offerings.
  • Review site and floor plans, explain available options and provide information on home features and pricing.
  • Respond accurately and quickly to potential purchaser and homeowner inquiries.
  • Ensure a successful sales process by qualifying all prospects and explaining Mattamy sales procedures.
  • Commit to achieving sales-related business goals, attending meetings, and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Achieve Customer Service performance goals.
  • Assist in the supervision of Sales Assistants in daily responsibilities.
  • Thoroughly understand and explain the Agreement of Purchase & Sale and related paperwork.
  • Prepare, review, and enter homeowner information for purchase and sale agreements into the corporate database.
  • Maintain market analysis and identify marketing strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Attend staff and association meetings to keep informed of marketing conditions and legislation affecting the real estate industry.

What you bring

  • 7+ years’ sales experience, with proven success.
  • Exceptional verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to identify customer requirements.
  • Adept at building trusting, professional relationships with prospective home buyers.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive demeanor.
  • Technological savvy with experience in MS Office and CRM applications.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Business-minded and knowledgeable in establishing and achieving sales goals.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of converting leads to sales.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit the highest degree of honesty and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays required.

Bonus points

  • Ability to read and understand construction, site, and floor plans.
