We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Senior Manager to lead and enhance our data management initiatives across Canada.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: 8–12 years of experience in roles focused on:
Owning organizational data assets to ensure high-quality, accessible, and consistent data.
Facilitating data cleansing, enrichment, de-duplication, and construction.
Conducting data discovery, profiling, and inventories.
Defining cloud-native data management architectures, including expertise in:
MDM Platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM SaaS B360/C360, Reltio, Tibco).
Data Platform Layers (raw, curated).
Data Integration Design (APIs, ETL, and streaming tools like IDMC/IICS, Boomi).
Designing and implementing processes such as Master and Reference Data stewardship, consolidation, sourcing, lineage, modeling, and metadata management.
Developing data management visions and strategies with a focus on data quality, automated cleansing, compliance, security policies, and data lifecycle management.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in tools and techniques for data storage, archiving, conversion, migration, and integration.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools, cloud data architecture, metadata management, SAS DataFlux, OLAP, and SDLC.
Expertise in data modeling methodologies, database design, and management.

Language Requirement:
~ Proficiency in English is mandatory as this role involves regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other global regions.


Bonus Points for Expertise in:
Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Pig, Hive).
Data lake ingestion and storage on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Data science and visualization tools integration with Big Data platforms.
Data migration and quality enhancement using tools like Informatica IDMC/IICS, MySQL/NoSQL, and event sourcing.
