Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for handling a a large volume of cases independently, but with as much mentorship as is required. Though Montreal is the firm's baby sister, having been established less than a year ago, we benefit from all of the experience and expertise that our Toronto counterpart has to offer. This is the perfect position for someone who wants to be hands on with clients and truly help those in need while taking control of their salary, enjoying some freedom and the ability to earn far above the average salary for this position.


Qualifications

  • Experience in immigration and/or refugee law
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and French
  • LLB or JD degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the Quebec Bar Association
  • Additional languages and experience are a plus
