THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the Manager, Information Technology, the Systems Coordinator, Information Technology, will provide administrative assistance to support day-to-day operations, as well as special projects. They will be responsible for implementing key points of applications, network, and supporting all stakeholders with technical-related issues, such as: site-wide LAN, vLAN, WLAN and WAN applications, virtual servers, database servers, disaster recovery and web servers.

OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Overseeing specialized airport computer systems including Multi-User Flight & Baggage Information Display (MUFIDS/BIDS), Computer Aided Dispatch, Building Automation, Master Clock and Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE).
  • Managing all audio-visual systems, storage Area Network space connected to iSCSI controller
  • Maintaining network operations and software application (i.e., Office 365, application servers, file, print application, WEB, database, proxy, etc.) to ensure efficient operations
  • Providing first level help desk services to both internal and external stakeholders on software and hardware issues
  • Monitoring systems to respond to emergencies and pre-empt problems.
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and/or software applications within FMAA’s local and wide area networks, telephones, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
  • Managing and supporting specialized systems including Flight Information Display System (FIDS), HP CORE Switches 5510/5520, Cisco Meraki, Ccure Access Control System, Panasonic Video Management System (VMS), and the Public Addressing system (grown)


REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in performing associated role with little supervision
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean Drivers Abstract
  • 3+ years of experience in the aviation, airline and/or transportation industry
  • 2 + years of experience with FIDS, HP CORE Switches 5510/5520, Cisco Meraki
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Security Clearance (RAIC)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong team player with great interpersonal skills
