Our valued Government Client requires an Intermediate Evaluator to provide a technical literature and research review on a transition project


SCOPE

The Intermediate Evaluation Consultant will conduct a thorough review of existing programs, services, and research findings related to the transition process. This evaluation will encompass various domains including physical and mental health, employment, engagement in meaningful activities, and financial well-being. The goal is to identify factors influencing transition periods and provide insights to inform the development of interventions, policies, and programs to support transitioning services


TASKS

  • Provide subject-matter assistance in the development and preparation of a literature review and environmental scan related to resilience and transition programs, services, and resources across TTCP nations, which would include developing a search strategy to identify documents and reports that:
  • Assessment of relevance and performance, including impacts, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of programs, policies, or initiatives, which would include developing a formal methodology for conducting and reporting the review and analysis (e.g., a method to systematically assess and synthesize the evidence, organize the literature into themes, assess and communicate the strength of evidence and certainty of conclusions).
  • Developing evaluation reports or associated products (e.g., briefing notes, deck, technical report) containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on the environmental scan and literature review and undertaking report validation and consultations where appropriate and requested.


MUST HAVES

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in psychology, sociology, or social sciences. degree in the Social Sciences.
  • Publicly available samples of scholarly and scientific writing (e.g. journal articles, reports, or theses) in the social sciences
