About This Position
This role is responsible for the direction, management, coordination, and implementation of client work scope in a designated area to provide exceptional cleaning services. You will also need to increase revenues from existing clients and manage a mobile workforce.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation plans for the client (e.g. waxing schedules, budgets, potential upselling opportunities).
  • Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Responsible for training subcontractors and employees on required legal training (WHMIS, Health and Safety, etc.) and United's specific cleaning training.
  • Lead all process initiatives and work with senior management to identify trends and gaps in processes.
  • Analyze and control store budgets, monitor operational expenses, and develop strategies to reduce costs and increase profitability at the store level.
  • Implement transitions of new activities on client sites in accordance with the transition process.
  • Support hiring/recruitment/training/performance management/termination of subcontractors.
  • Work in compliance with health and safety policies and laws.

Job Requirements

  • Available to respond to client and subcontractor needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts on a rotating basis, including evenings and nights.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the designated territory.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and to resolve problems effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Skills - Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active listening, time management, leadership, independence, and technology proficiency.
  • Budgeting and cost management in operational cleaning environments.
  • Knowledge of floor maintenance and cleaning procedures is an asset.
  • Ability to motivate a mobile team of subcontractors.
