About the Job:

Beckhoff Automation Canada has an exciting opportunity to join our Technical Support team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Beckhoff's cutting-edge products and technologies while collaborating with expert engineers and exploring the vast field of industrial automation. We’re looking for candidates with a passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer technical inquiries efficiently, professionally and confidently.
  • Develop detailed automation system quotations by interpreting customer technical needs and coordinating with internal resources (e.G., Sales, Application Engineering, Product Specialists).
  • Provide first-line technical support (via email, phone, MS Teams) for Beckhoff’s PC-based control technologies, including TwinCAT 3 software, system hardware, and advanced motion control systems.
  • Prioritize incoming requests, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain a high level of knowledge of Beckhoff products and related technologies.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Technologist degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent education and experience;
    recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of industrial automation hardware and software.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to customers in team meetings.
