Gérant.e de chantier

Sous la supervision du/de la gérant.e de projet, le/la gérant.e de chantier/surintendant.e général.e supervise les activités de construction liées aux différents domaines d’activité (environnement, travaux de génie civil, fondation, travaux électriques ou installation) et travaille en étroite collaboration avec l’ingénieur.e de projet et les coordonnateur.rice.s de travaux pour assurer la qualité des travaux et l’avancement du projet.

Pré-requis:

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires et certificats/cartes/diplômes (selon la province) ou une expérience pertinente
  • 5 à 10 ans d'expérience dans des fonctions similaires pour des projets de construction civils destiné à des équipements de haute tension électrique
  • Bonnes habiletés de communication en français et connaissance de base en anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit
  • Grande mobilité géographique et un permis de conduire valide
  • Être capable de s'adapter à un environnement très stressant et aux fluctuations météorologiques (chantier de construction).

Ce que tu feras :

  • Planifier les installations sur le site et l’aménagement temporaire du site.
  • Participer aux réunions liées à l’exécution et au calendrier des tâches.
  • Coordonner les travaux des équipes dans leur corps de métier et s’assurer de la qualité et de la production tout en respectant l’horaire des travaux.
  • Effectuer le suivi des progrès des équipes et des sous-traitants.
  • Jouer un rôle pivot dans la mise en place et l’application du plan qualité.
  • Assurer le respect des règles et normes de sécurité sur le site.
  • Participer aux réunions et aux formations portant sur la sécurité.
  • Communiquer avec le gérant.e de projet et l’ingénieur.e de projet la liste des fournitures, des produits et des
  • matériaux nécessaires pour les travaux et en tenir l’inventaire.
  • Procéder aux inspections du site avant le commencement des travaux.
  • Effectuer l’évaluation des sous-traitants et faire part des non-conformités au coordonnateur des travaux du champ d’activité.
  • Concevoir l’horaire de travail des corps de métier en collaboration avec les coordonnateur.rice.s de travaux.
  • Toutes autres tâches connexes.
